Introducing Avalon’s Newest Community Amenity:

A Pavilion Made with Trees Harvested from Our Very Own Backyard

While our breathtaking Blue Ridge and Smoky Mountain views truly make our homesites special, our people are what set us apart. The strong sense of community at Avalon runs deep, which is why we’re so thrilled to highlight our newest amenity — the Avalon Pavilion.

We recently gathered for a ribbon-cutting ceremony and fall social to celebrate this exciting Avalon affair. Designed to embody the close-knit spirit of our community, the pavilion is a stunning outdoor space made to bring people together.

As the newest social hub of Avalon, it’s the ideal site to mix, mingle, and meet new neighbors and old friends. On Saturday, October 15th (just 1 day after the main structure build officially wrapped!), we enjoyed the official ceremony, complete with BBQ, a local folk artist, and of course, great neighbors.

So, what makes this pavilion extra special? Oak timbers used to build it were harvested from trees on the Avalon property, giving the pavilion meaningful ties to our beautiful natural surroundings. Our friends at Hearthstone Homes, experts in timber frame and custom homes, partnered with us to bring the pavilion to life. In the works since April 2022 and finishing touches like a shingle roof, native stone fireplace and chimney and catering station still in progress, we’re thrilled to see it come to fruition and look forward to making lasting memories with friends, family, and neighbors.

Watch as the pavilion comes to life!
