Directions to Avalon
From Asheville
Go west on I-40 to exit 27 for Waynesville (via Hwy 74/19/23).
Go west at exit 103 towards Maggie Valley on Hwy 19, pass Lake Junaluska on the right.
Turn right at the first traffic light.
Take an immediate right onto County Road, following the Avalon sign.
Continue 1.6 miles
Turn left on Rogers Cove Road, following the Avalon sign.
Turn right on Breckenridge Road (at Junaluska Highlands and Avalon signs).
When you arrive at the community gate, call 828-246-9800 or dial 128 on the gate keypad for access.
Follow the signs to the Avalon Information Center.

From Franklin/Dillsboro
Go east on Hwy 74/19/23 toward Waynesville.
At Waynesville, take exit 102B.
Continue two miles North (via Highway 276 N) towards Maggie Valley/Junaluska Assembly.
At Hwy 19 (after the third traffic light), turn right onto County Road, following the Avalon sign.
Continue 1.6 miles.
Turn left on Rogers Cove Road, following the Avalon sign.
Turn right onto Breckenridge Road (at the Junaluska Highlands and Avalon signs).
When you arrive at the community gate, call 828-246-9800 or dial 128 on the gate keypad for access.
